How does a high school dropout and single mom afford law school?
I read somewhere that you practically need to be of financially independent means.

shareI graduated from a third rate law school in 1994 with less than $10,000 in loans to pay back. I did exhaust my savings, but the 3 years including time spent studying for the bar, all tuition, books, and living expenses was less than $45,000. It can be done.
shareIt still doesn't make sense. Why did she go to law school?? Law school would cost a lot more than hiring an attorney to file whatever papers needed to be filed. And as for retrieving the evidence and testing the DNA....anyone can do that. She didn't need to be an attorney.
