Johnny Depp was the only thing that made this good.

sharei think it just shows that he isnt embarrassed to show and honor where he came from. in this case the original show obviously launched his career so it was a nice gesture to do this. of course i didnt expect how his role would end. lol
and it was very cool seeing Peter Deluise back with him.
and then as most know by now, his first role ever was in the original Nightmare on Elm Street. and he came back for a cameo in Freddy's Dead (Nightmare 6) and it was eventually revealed Wes Craven wanted him for a cameo in New Nightmare (Nightmare 7) but feared he'd just refuse so he never bothered asking but Johnny's gone on to say he would have done it if asked.
he was only in it cause he was in the original series 21 Jump Street. Playing the same character - it doesn't make him cool.
