After Lucy and now Ghost in the Shell failed on the Box Office, I think we realized now that Scarlett is not charismatic enough to be the leading star. She just didn't bring enough audience. Well, here goes the hope of stand-alone Black Widow movie.
She's good as a supporting actress though.
Which is why it makes no sense to cast her for her "star power."
shareYeah, but I don't blame them though. The first time I saw Johansson in Michael Bay's The Island, I felt like she surely will be a big action movie star. I mean, Angelina Jolie big or even more. She's beautiful, has a non-generic face, is hot, and is a pretty good actress overall. So, I don't get why she doesn't have enough "star power" to be a lead, yet in fact, she apparently doesn't.
