What was up with that ending?

She gets away in the car, gets to a long road, she stops and sees a weird figure walking across the road, she looks down at her stomach, camera pans back up and the movie just ends. Can someone who understood what happened there tell me what the fuck happened there?

It seemed to me that the demon or whatever may have indeed successfully inhabited the baby; if you listen closely you can hear some weird noises coming from her stomach, which is why she looked down.

Ah i'll have to go back and watch the scene again, must've missed those sounds, thanks.
