Keira knightleys American accent

I found it really annoying. I normally like her as an actress but because I found myself cringing every time she opened her mouth I found myself losing any empathy I had with her character including when she got kidnapped. I was hoping that lightbulb would have at least restored her to a cutglass british twang

I wouldn't consider myself classified to judge how good it was, but she was clearly laying it on so thick in every scene (especially her big moment in his hotel room) that I was distracted by Keira Knightley trying her best to maintain an accent rather than really doing anything interesting character wise. It's a shame, because as far as these wife roles in these kinds of movies go, this was one of the better ones, and it's a shame somebody more suited to it didn't play the part.

She looked like she was in pain trying to staunch her native accent.

I thought it was pretty decent but like someone else was thrown off a little by that voice coming out of her. I'm just too used to her actual voice so it just felt wrong.

"God, when I meet you, I'm gonna be pretty. If it's the last thing I do. I'll be a beautiful angel."

She sounded just like we do here in western Massachusetts.

I thought it was pretty distracting, but I've only ever heard her speak with her natural accent so maybe that's why.

I shall now pause for giggles

She did really good I love when british people change to an american accent it makes them almost unrecognizable.
