That Butler is revealed to have worked for the CIA given his skills and Michael Kelly's character sounding terrifed of him its crazy that he couldn't handle two home invaders.

Either way, Clyde wasn’t a spy, “spies are a dime a dozen ... Clyde was a brain”
In other words, he’s a tactician - he just hadn’t planned for random home invasion
I think the revelation was stupid and it kinda kills the final act too
