So what is is he actually supposed to be known for as far as his abilities (not his "secret" role in the Seven) I mean his public persona and super powers? He seems rather dumb. He was easily spotted by Butcher on the roof of the house. Then he proceeded to set off every bomb in the house and just seems slow at processing situations and fighting unless in direct melee.

I would think someone who is dressed up like Snake Eyes and carries 'ninja' weapons would be a bit more smooth and quick thinking. He might as well have just knocked on the door of the house and asked to come in.

And I figured he set off all the bombs as a fuckyou to Butcher - just to show how ineffectual they were

But all that aside, he DOES seem kind of dumb when he's not engaged in physical combat - maybe that's the intent. I've seen panels from the comics, where it's revealed that he's actually Homelander's insane clone, and he seems pretty dumb there, too.

Ah I guess that makes sense on the "fuck you to Butcher" but in the context of the episode, it should him with all the debri and fragments embedded in his uniform. That he didn't set them off strategically, that he literally walked into each one.

I have seen that about him from the comic books too. At some point wouldn't someone notice his powers are beyond what they are "supposed" to be? Meaning his strength and durability being on par with Homelander?

Actually, good point about his uniform - he seems to just not care.

It could be because he's trying to psych out his opponents, like Butcher or the bomb-terrorist-supe, or it could be because he's too stupid/crazy to take any evasive action whatsoever

They did make it a point to show him playing with the kid's rabbit and sitting the hallway crying when he learned about Compound V. So he's definitely "off"

Maybe they're following the comic more closely than we suspect.

Awesome to have a good conversation with another fan! Thank you. So yes, he does definitely seem "off" but then so do all the supes don't they (for except Starlight... so far). So here is the question, does Compound-V make people "crazy" or give god-complexes or is that just the natural side affect of having so much power?

At least we know now why hears a full body suit including the mask lol. To hide the scars.
