Kind of lost me because....

Of how too many movie and program makers keep resorting to non-linear storytelling when linear storytelling would do just fine. I think the way it was used in this film actually sort of weakened the entire impact of the movie.

I'm not sure why and when too many makers decided to resort to this as some sort of "new" way to tell stories, but it has ended up being just a trope.

I absolutely liked it, it didn't bother me that much. Strong performances and a good story is all that matters.

Although I usually like when they do that in movies, I have to agree with you. It was unnecessary here. It felt sort of out of place. A linear storyline would have made it fit together way better, I think.

Agree, it was unnecessary for this movie. Watched it last night, I think if they kept us in the dark about the whole thing being undercover operation and revealed it in the end like a twist would be better.

didn't bother me at al, I thought it was really good.

Great story, great acting, great mood and picture, very well done.
