Does anyone else feel bad when.. (Spoilers)

In the end, we know humans are going to colonise the planet Tani and slowly killing most of the eatable animals in the planet, building factories, destroying the ozone... Pretty much do everything they did to Earth?

Nope, humans are classified as a virus.
That's what we do, it's in our nature.

You can't blame a bird for flying.

humans are definitely not classified by a virus...
at least not by anyone who is taking the classification seriously or has any drive to be taken seriously themselves

no. All creatures change their environment to survive.

That's assuming humans can even survive and thrive there. The mutants could have survived and terrorize them in a sequel. They could end up like "Don't look up" and end up as snacks for local fauna. Or maybe devolve into mindless mutants that find their place in the eco system.
