I'm curious... it's really not often that in an American film an Asian man is sexualized. It's even LESS often that you'll see an interracial relationship involving an Asian man... RARER STILL is a Black lady and an Asian man. Unlike that cock-tease Romeo Must Die where they never even kissed D:<

So I'm wondering if Rain and Naomie are to be pared off in this one... Seems likely. I'm all for bold casting choices and Naomie Harris is pretty cool. So I'm all for this movie being awesome!

I don't know if Rain and Naomi could have a relationship in the movie. I mean, she looks like a real (beautiful) woman and he looks like a boy. Very handsome, but very very young. At one point, even looked like a girl. That's not a diss, often some guys are so handsome their features taken on feminine qualities.

I will say he had a very deep manly voice. I swear hearing him talk could melt a stick of butter on my forehead.

Asian men are turned into asexual men in martial arts films.

They cannot have sex with any non asian woman in action films unlike black and white men. Will it ever end?

FYI: I don't blame the men. I blame Hollywood.

It wouldn't happen outside the fringes (like the Harold and Kumar films) before an A-list Hollywood actress would break the taboo in real life, that much I'm certain of!

The actress who'll take that bold step is anyone's guess! :D

I have to disagree. Black women star in all kinds of movies in the U.S. You must not live here. I think people in other countries think racism is bigger than what it is in America.

Who ever said that this was not a hollywood movie, Rome Must Die was made by the same studio who put out ninja assassin Warner Bros.? and both had a black woman as the lead of the flims.

Why is everyone on about how they should have a relationship? If I want to see a movie about how important it is to have a boyfriend, I'll watch Twilight.

This movie is perfect without being a love story.
