Over did the gore big time

I'm a huge fan of horror films, but films like these are outrageously bad. First time I saw it I switched it off as soon as the first kill happened (Pickaxe through head, pops eyeball out). For 3D viewing I can imagine the audience finding it 'cool', but without 3D it's incredibally lame.

I finally got round to watching it in full last night on Sky, and i'm glad I never forked out a tenner to watch it in the cinema. Got progressively worse and the kills increasingly more ridiculous the more the film went on.

Well with a title like 'My Bloody Valentine', you should know you're gonna be in for some over the top gory deaths, no?

"My Semi Bloody Valentine"?
...besides, horror fans love blood and gore!

That first death scene at the mines with the eyeball popping out is really the only one that looked weird. The rest looked alright to good.

A lot of people around here seem to have difficulty distinguishing between horrible movie and type of movie you don't like. This movie used the 3D to make a gory and cheesy horror film. If you think this film is horrible you really haven't seen many

Haha. I just watched this on Tuesday with my teenage niece. She's obsessed with Supernatural and Jensen Ackles, so she begged me to watch it this Valentine's Day.

Anyway, in the middle of the movie, she remarked, "Why is this movie so bloody?!" And as soon as she said bloody, she made the connection with the title and went "Ahhh." It was quite cute and comical.

I found it fairly tame. Some of it did look awful without 3D though.
