I just watched this and even though I'm 32, don't have any kids and into violent action films, I found it really good. I'll have to see the earlier one, skeleton island or something isn't it?

I'm a big fan of the books and though the movies weren't very faithful, I thought they were both pretty good. Terror Castle is better than Skeleton Island, but I found them both to be a lot of fun. I wish they would release these in region 1 dvd or blu-ray!!

Agreed that the second one is slightly better than the first. That business with pretending to be Antony and Cleopatra or Valentine and the jailer's daughter was weird though.

I agree. I'm over 30 also and I really enjoyed this movie. It was well made and acted (young actor who played Jupiter was very good). This movie was nice little trip back into my childhood.

5.5 rating in IMDB. Come on, give me a break. :)

I thought it was enjoyable too. Like one of those children films that Disney would show on Sunday night as a two-part show.

This one is better than Skeleton Island. Three boys have grown into the right age to play the investigators in this one.
