Which is your favorite Final Destination Movie

I think mine had to be the second Final Destination movie, the highway accident at the beginning of the movie is insane!

The first one is the best movie overall, but the second had the best premonition.

Final Destination 2 is still my favourite. Need to see 5 though!

FD1 - the movie that started it all. Very original and creepy. With great building suspense, great character developments and awesome twists. And talk about the acting and the script! Superb.

FD5 - the movie that picked the franchise from being a laughable movie series (blame TFD). Great suspense and deaths, good attempt at character developments and the characters were so fully dimensional. Great in 3D too.

FD3 - creepy; had the same formula as the first one but still manages to pull out it's charm, making the movie exciting and awesome. And I just liked the writing and directing of Wong's team.

FD2 - great follow up to the original. Had awesome deaths and they really expanded the mythology, although a bit cheesy, I think it's a fun movie. Totally re-watchable.

TFD - TV movie. Heck, even TV movies are better. I feel ashamed for the series for having this atrocious installment.

There is only one Final Destination movie, which is the first and original.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)

¤ Final Destination (2000)- One because it is the original, largely though because of Devon Sawa he just conveys a weariness; a fear throughout the film about what's happening. The way the character is portrayed really adds a weight to the film and because there's a certain originality the death scenes are twisted excellently and it moves at a good pace. By far my favourite.

¤ Final Destination 2 (2003)- Maybe not everyone's favourite and now it's becoming much more tongue in cheek but by heck it's FUN! A. J. Cook is very charming and cute, the story flows fairly well and the ending is hilariously OTT.

¤ Final Destination 5 (2011)- I really did like this one barring the gun chase scene with pint sized Tom Cruise lookalike. The death scenes are nicely inventive, contrived yet entertaining. And I love how this ties up to the very first. I thought it was a nice surprise. Plus AC/DC has the final band frankly is awesome!

¤ Final Destination 3 (2006)- Enjoyable but I found it somewhat less memorable, not to say it isn't fun. The cast are reasonably good, MEW is the star in my opinion though. The rollercoaster scene is a nice opening. Much to like but not quite on the same level as the first 3 listed for me.

¤ The Final Destination (2009)- As mindless fun this isn't that bad, go in and turn thinking cap off it does the job. However it's last because I couldn't engage with the characters at all barring a few. The lack of correlation between this and the others makes it feel like it was meant for something else. The deaths are always enjoyable however. My biggest problem? NO Bludworth (Tony Todd)!! Throughout every film he's been a consistent character if only in voice (FD3) I don't know how TFD would have fared with him but taking out a tangible link made it feel significantly weaker for me. I can enjoy it but for me it's the weakest of all 5.

Note: this is just my personal opinion, no offense is intended.
