Tara's plan in S6 was so stupid.

I'm going to rant because nobody i know watches this show, and I need to vent lol!

I'm rewatching the series. And knowing Tara's fate, I can't stand how dumb she is written throughout the whole series. I'm aware that she probably would have been written out by S4 if none of this happened.

She chose to play house with a criminal while trying to advance herself in a legitimate, respectable career. She always had thugs gallavanting about at her place of work, pulling her aside to have heated discussions in front of everybody. She knew the deal before they got together, but she always bitched about the violence. She had the chance to bail so many times. How many times did we have to hear "Waah! But Jax, what about the boys! Our boys! We have two small boys"! Seriously. For the love of CCH Pounder, get it together!

She couldn't bear the thought of being without Jax. She would rather be a helpless, sitting duck than to be without a man. Yea, she loves him and it might hurt to leave him, but she'd survive. The kids can't survive without someone looking out for them, though.

He was always being pulled back into club drama because the MC is his family just as much as Tara and "the boys". It didn't matter how much time she gave him or how close he said he was to getting out. Her denial about that was frustrating to watch.

She was 100% right to try to get them away, but she waited too long. She got involved with Otto which resulted in that bullsh-t charge. Then, she really couldn't leave. So in S6, she is scrambling around trying to execute this horrendous idea at the last minute. She trapped herself. That's what was so frustrating. Unless I'm forgetting something, Jax never acted like she couldn't leave until he found out about her master plan. He encouraged her to go once. All of this "Gemma won't let us leave" crap that she was spewing was annoying.

Jax was toxic. Gemma was toxic. The club was toxic. Charming is a cesspool. She sat around with her mouth hanging open waiting for change. And now that I'm re-watching this, and I know how it turns out, all I can think is "wtf is so special about Jax"?

What pissed me off about her is she knowingly got involved with Jaxx and the club and suddenly, she had this crazy idea of divorcing him, getting him to put a restraining order on Gemma via a fake miscarriage, and give away custody rights. And thought there round be no repercussions for it whatsoever.

It all came out of nowhere.

Why is she suddenly acting like the violence was all new? She had 3-4 years to get out of the relationship, yet she chose to marry him. IDC how hot a guy was/is, there is no way I will be pulled into their mess. Nothing was hidden from her, yet she still chose to live it with eyes open. She also could've chosen the Donna route, to live in the dark, but no, she was well aware of Jaxx life and the club. In fact she also could've chosen to be more like Donna, married to the man but not directly involved with the club. Yet she chose to be involved and informed of the club's criminal activities.

So I have no sympathy for her whatsoever when she concocted her plan to get away because it all could've been avoided, yet she chose her path and life.

Also, why is she so pissed at him for sleeping with that older prostitute, enough to turn him in, when she was planning on divorcing him and taking away his children forever? She was leaving him, so why care who he sleeps with?

Finally, I actually have issues with this show bit won't get to it. And honestly, I don't think the Club was worth the life that it's members and their families lead. I can understand the IRA, the Cartel, the Mafia because they are all high stakes with a long complicated history but these bikers? Like a saying we have "1 scratch, 1 peck" - mouth to mouth existence - with exponential violence, a life not worth living.
