Justice???

I've never watched or read a more perfect example of what seeking revenge looks like. It wouldn't matter if the accused had irrefutable proof of his innocence. He was doomed the minute he set foot in Israel. I couldn't believe how 'amateur' and simple-minded the Israeli court seemed in contrast to the U.S. court system. Well, I guess, what can be expected from a nation established on the basis of religion ? The U.S. NEVER should have deported him in the first place !

He was freed by the Israeli Supreme Court.

Good. (That was quick!!) As you've probably guessed, I'm just starting the last segment. I'll still leave my comment though as I think its sentiment stands.

Based on the documentary, he was going to be convicted regardless of the evidence. Someone had to pay regardless if he committed the crime or not.

There was considerable reasonable doubt in the case. Eyewitness testimony is considered an unreliable form of evidence, especially 40 years after the fact and when one of the witnesses signed an affidavit saying he killed the defendant 40 years ago.

I don't know if John is Ivan or not. I do know based on the documentary he should not have been convicted.

Israelis have always been worthless as fuck when it comes to being rational in going after Nazis. If you look at the Adolph Eichmann case, it is still unclear if he was really who the Israelis claimed he was. They didn't simply get someone and put him on trial, they got someone and then kept him or days until they forced him to confess that he was Eichmann. Was he really Eichmann or someone they just tortured to confess? Who knows. What is known is that they illegally kidnapped someone, so frankly any trial they had was bullshit as it was based on illegal actions. That's the way the Israelis act.
