Why was there a confederate flag in the background? I never caught it before but now I'm like ehh was that really necessary?

I don't get A) How it's a gay club when the dude with the beard initially told them that some chick wins the strip contest every night and B) How the dad just *happened* to find them there.

You didn't really watch very closely, did you? The chick you refer to "Jade" is a dude. They show him, there at the bar with his shirt off more or less telling Danielle she has no chance. And the dad didn't just happen to find him there. The bar was right next door to the auto mechanic where the gay kid's card was declined. The dad tracked them there.
