The dialogues of the american characters were odd, their jokes, the way they asked their questions. You could tell that the scriptwriter (korean) was trying to imitate how americans speaks.
Even I, who was not born in the United States, realized that it sounded strange how they spoke.
I agree it was a little odd and "fake" but who cares I just wanted to see them all suffer for what they created!
shareIt was shoddy filmmaking. The way they were written and acted was atrocious, they’re a crude attempt at rendering greedy capitalist Americans and of course one of them is a homosexual pervert.
They stand out because the rest of the series is mostly superbly handled, but the weird commie, anti-capitalist messaging and crass anti-Americanism really lets it down.
