That are not popular(So dont recommend blade runner or something) but similar to this film - 'a little gem, hard to find'

Many good suggestions. I'll just second the recommendation for Moon - another exquisite recent hard sci-fi movie, which unfolds gradually without unnecessary drama.
I'll add two of my recommendations, because I think the following movies "feel" a bit like Eden Log (though somewhat less sophisticated): Logan's Run and Zardoz.
007 wearing red underwear and shooting up the place with a Webley-Fosbery can't be all bad. :)
