Movie Poster Whitewashed Award

Apparently the producers thought it was OK to whitewash the movie poster!

The first one featured the 4 couples standing in the water (the one IMDb shows), and then they re-released the almost identical poster minus the black couple.

People have commented on the fact that the black couple shouldn't have really been in the movie, but it seems a bit much to have them in the poster, and in the movie, and then just erase them from the poster. Why would they do that? they think the black couple in the poster is going to scare away audience members?!

I was shocked when I saw that. I didn't think this kind of whitewashing was still occuring today.

you can´t play the racist card here, they where the only couple unfamous, if the black guy was eddie murphy or chris rock nobody would take them out of the poster.
favreau, vaughn, sarah marshall, ackerman and charlotte where known, nobody knows the other couple.
in one poster was jean reno, they took him away because he was french? that´s xenophobia

Interestingly, the word 'whitewashing' used to have a completely different meaning before all this race hysteria was created.

Hijacking words that already have a different meaning to use them in a more simplistic manner (because that meaning is too difficult for the simple-minded to understand) to advance your race agenda seems to be the norm today. The old, civilized, elegant world that created these words is dead.
