Anyone see a few parallels?

Both guys just finished med/vet school in Scotland, want to get a way from their parents, get hired by an authoritarian figure, then shoot an animal.

guess we got different ideas of this movie it was about torture and insanity of Idi Amin not about med/vet

I noticed a “few parallels” on the motivations of the main characters, the doctors. Wasn’t making a comment about the whole film.

guess I missed what you saw strange how you can compare country vets making a living with some one who traveled to a foreign land and see same motives
