has sort of caused people to avoid this excellent program, especially for US viewers.
I kept seeing this on my Netflix feed and finally gave it a try and am very satisfied with how good this brutal show is and am surprised at the lack of attention it seems to have received.
I didn't know they made a show based on the Swedish film. Interesting.
Even if I did, I wouldn't watch it because it's on Netflix, and it looks like they race/gender-swapped the leads.
I've seen the Easy Money movies and forgot about them under that title and I did enjoy them.
As for not watching it because of where it is at and who plays what, you are missing out. It's a damn good program and is certainly above average. I think as more and more time goes by, we are going to see more and more programs copied by other countries. Sort of like the many variations of The Bridge.
If anything, it sort of seems Season 2 is borrowing from HBO's Season 4 of The Wire.
