Getting Weary of these Space Horrors.

Whether it is Gravity and micrometiorite's slicing through people's bodies, or Mars where people go tumbling out of control into space, or in Interstellar where there is always no hope for mankind whatsoever. The futurists are trying to tell us something.

OK we get it. Space is a bad idea. We should give up on such a silly notion of going out into it. How can we possibly even think of wasting resources going to space when there is so much work to do protecting our own planet? We get the message but how much does it need to be pounded into the minds of space and astronomy geeks through these movies? It's always the same theme.

Don't forget that humans actually evolved from sea creatures and getting out from the sea to live on the land was just as scary and dangerous, but we still made it. That's what will happen with space as well. We will definitely conquer it someday.

this was not a horror movie.

Actually the message (in this one and Interstellar) seemed to be more like Earth is a bad idea. The planet is going to kill you. Get off now!!! In both films it was staying here that was dangerous, and going into space was the only thing that could save us.

I wouldn't call this a horror movie though. A disaster flick with a focus on character drama is more like it. You had a crew of astronauts trying to survive in space, and a man alone with his demons on Earth.

We are learning so much from exploring space and every day utilities and equipment such as a microwave, CAT scans, solar cells, and even better tyre technology came from space research. I guess fairly quickly what was going on with the kid but that didn’t stop me watching the whole film. It’s been a terrible time for movie lovers so this came as a welcomed guest.

Yeah it was pretty obvious early on that the little girl couldn't be real. The movie wasn't actually bad, and it was beautifully filmed, my problem is that nothing whatsoever was resolved and there were no real answers. Here are the problems I had with it:
