The astronauts were not very analytical/professional
they all seem consumed by their emotions and not very professional.

Unlike a lot of people who have commented on this movie, I enjoyed it and thought it was beautifully shot & directed but I did find the astronauts far too emotionally driven.
There’s just no way professional astronauts would allow a pregnancy to occur on mission for example.
But hey, it is a movie and not real life and I really liked it for the most part.
You give astronauts a LOT of undue respect and/or leeway. They're human. Not super human. Honestly, from the real ones we have today, they don't even seem to be above average intelligence. That's another subject for another day.
