What i have watched so far - personal opinion and predictions

Ok, i already have watched 7 of the nominees only miss Father and i dont see this movies earn a cult following any time soon Chicago 7 and Black Messiah are movies about specific moments in american history and i feel for some reason the directors assume foreign viewers would know or have a high level of knowledge about what is happening there i feel a little lost in both movies in some times nothing that ruin the global understanding of what is going on but sometimes present names and events without a explanation of who they are like in the black messiah the make a mention to some black leaders the only one i could recognize and understand why was mention was Bobby Seale and that was because i have already seen Chicago 7 where he was a main character i feel this two movies are to focuss in american audiences and dont offer much to foreign viewers except of course the struggle again oppresive structure and abuse of power but i believe are movies that achive this in a way even people who are not familiar with american history can follow the plot and all the anems that are mention JFK comes to mind

Mank i like almost everything from David Fincher and have high expectation to see a black and white movie from him and is beatifull shot i catch the references and homages to Citizen Kane and the Hollywood of that era but beyond that this is not his best movie and i dont think is best movie of the year

Promising young woman: a man hating letter where every men is a monster i have already explain why i dislike this movie in his page

Nomadland boring with pretty photography i like movies that take his time to say what they want to say but this one just dind't work for me

Sound of metal: ok, not big deal great acting i understand why people like it

Minari really good i believe is the one i like the most, succed in show the struggle of a family in a foreign land and foreign culture i like they dont present the americans as racist and the family as vicitms here are just regular people struggling to succeed the cultural and generational diferents are present the acting his good and the story is very simple but tell in a form you really care for this people

The movie in the nominees that i like the most wasen't nominee to best picture but it was nominee to best foreign film and that is Druk is a shame wasn't nominee to best picture i think is alot better than the ones nominee a exception of father wich i have not seen so i can tell nothing good or bad about it

I dont have any favorite to be honest i dont see myself watching a 5 hours ceremony to see wich of this movie win more awards maybe next year i just hope Druk win best foreing movie and El agente topo win best documentary

My predictions never the less are

Best actress: Viola Davis

Best secondary actress: Youn Yuh-jung

Best actor: Chadwick Boseman

Best secondary actor: Paul Raci

Best Movie: Nomadland

Best Director: i would like Thomas Vinterberg but i think is going to be
Chloé Zhao or David Fincher

Documentary: El agente topo

Foreign film: Druk

Best animated movie: Soul

I know people are always to eager to feel ofended by anything, that is not my intention this is just a subjective opinion, im just a regular asshole who watch movies so is not like im some kind of authority so please dont make the mistake of take this list or my opinion to serious because dont even i do that

If you would use capital letters, periods, apostrophes, and other punctuation marks in the appropriate places your writing would be easier to read. You are attempting to communicate effectively, aren't you?
