She was a doll. Andrew should've gotten back with her. He must've been a masochist since he decided to be with a bitch who had humiliated him for years. What a wuss.

They weren't compatible. Andrew wanted to be an editor in NYC while Gertrude was happy in their small town.

Likely a future divorce for Margaret and Andrew.
