A Yakuza comedy of errors

is how I understood this film - assuming I did, it took me something like 15 minutes to figure out who was who.
For what it's worth - an incompetent gangster and a corrupt cop attempt to rip off a drug shipment and then everything that can go wrong - goes wrong. Mixed up in this is a young boxer trying to help a young prostitute, Chinese gangsters and an extremely vengeful girlfriend.
There are some interesting characters in the film (quite possibly they are generally well known actors having fun spoofing their own image) and I wanted to like it more than I did but at the end of the day it was just OK.
