Taking on the Ruskies on their own patch: Queen's Gambit Vs Rocky IV

Hello everyone. And welcome back to the good stuff.

I'm very stupid and therefore all the vast knowledge I had amassed regarding historical trips to the Soviet Union during the cold war period was based upon watching all time classic movie Rocky IV.

However after watching this I made all kinds of nasty discoveries that it may not have been as accurate as I originally perceived.

So yeah, let's dive straight in and look at the differences:-

Being tailed:-
Rocky IV - KGB
Queen's Gambit - CIA

Accommodations:-
Rocky IV - Very basic cabin. No heating. No luxuries whatsoever.
Queen's Gambit - Super plush hotel. Lots of stylish art deco features. Cocktails.

The Locals:-
Rocky IV - Must break you! Begrudged clapping following victory.
Queen's Gambit - Very friendly from the offset. Warm and humble in defeat.

Facial hair:-
Rocky IV - superb thick beard is a prerequisite.
Queen's Gambit - apparently not.

So which show is more accurate? And are there any other differences which I may have missed?
