Interesting and entertaining series, but...

it felt like the showrunners were in love with Meyer Lansky and Charlie Luciano more than any other characters. Even bigger than life Al Capone was portrayed with all of the flaws, and then some. Charlie and Meyer were portrayed in a more romantic light it seems and showing them defeating Nucky and taking his empire was not only historically inaccurate but wholly contrived. It was as if they wanted to do a sequel to the show and feature Charlie and Meyer's Syndicate exploits after Boardwalk ended.
