Why I give it 2 of 10

I have not watched it more than 15 minutes. I'm sure if we see 15 minutes of instant coprophagy the rest of the movie will be 1 hour and 15 minutes of coprophagy.

Epigonism after Tim Burton does not help because Tim never hates any character he creates, but poor Mary, Max and Co were really hated by the greedy and schizoid authors.

Let's bury it and never see again.

Can I ask you a question and really get a response from you? Well i'm gonna try, so heres my question. What are some films that you really like? No offense, not saying you're retarded (although I would give it an 8/10 ) but i'm just asking. What are some good in your opinion (no not good popcorn, good movies)?

reply

Oh and don't rate a movie you have only watched 15 minutes of unless of it's 15 minutes or less .

That awkward moment when you try to put the Mary and Max DVD into your DVD player, but you trip and accidentally put in Salo.

Don't worry man, it happens.

reply

and you come on imdb to complain because you didnt like the movie? get a life.we dont care about your opinion. obviously your in the minority anyways.
PS this is a review. next time put it in the reviews not on the forum/board

I gave it a chance - watched very minute intently - gave it a 2 also and if you look at my ratings you'll see I almost never go below 6.

Why I give YOU 2 of 10: Because you rate a movie after only 15 minutes.

I read the three pages with comments. Some of them made me glad, some of them made me very sad.

I am sad for those who does not see the beauty of this film. Do not get me wrong, please, cause I am known to be very blunt. I simply mean that you who does not like it - does not relate. And I am not really sad for your sake, I am sad for others.

I am a woman from Sweden. I "suffer" from the diagnosis ADHD with autistic trademarks, or trades, I am not sure what the english term would be. Nevertheless. I also have two sons who have the same diagnosis. One with sever (Spelling?) ADHD, one who is "high-functioning".

Max is colored with Aspergers. It is not the same but we are in the same family. Neuropsycical functions. We are different.

In soceity today, we always have to change to benefit the greater majority. I often feel lost and confused to why people want to medicate me for being honest and for having great structure - and at the same time, "normal" people can go on as they please. If they act different, or look different, they are just "expressing themselfes". Me, my sons, and other of our kind, are aliens.

I felt for Max. I can not fully express my emotions but this film is important. And it is also scary cause the responses I read show a great deal of "normal" people who never will understand this other kind of people. It somewhat scares me.

I am very lucky. I even married a very normal person, who spends his days sometimes telling me how the world works today, what is acceptble, what is not, and what people mean by not saying what they mean. He help me to structure feelings and finds the stuff I always loose.
In return, I take care of all numberrelated issues of the household, and I also stand for written communication, memory when it comes to information, and structure.

This post may not make much sence to a great deal of you, and I more then often do not write anything at all. This time though, I felt the need to say something. See the film through other eyes then your own. Learn something about our side of the population.

Cause we have to learn about you. And live in your world. Every day.
We are considered handicapped and weird.
We are just like you. Just sometimes faster. Or with speciell skills. If you just could see us. Maybe through more films like these.

Best regards // Me.

P.S I am sorry from my spelling. English is not my native language.
