They didn't even TRY to cast an actress who actually looks like Victoria

The real Queen Victoria was short and stocky with a big, round, plain (almost ugly) face. But of course you can't have a Hollywood princess without beauty pageant looks, right? Geez, they could have at least tried for "Hollywood ugly".

As others have said, how Victoria looked as the fat old lady with bulging eyes that we all know of, was not how she looked when she was a girl. Nobody looks in their old age the way they looked in their teens. People aren't born 50 years old you know! Lol.

She was indeed said to be a slender slip of a girl, with an acceptably pretty face.

You try going through nine pregnancies and childbirths, going through menopause and weight gain and very likely thyroid problems, and think you'll look the same as you used to? She wasn't born looking like that. They DID cast someone who looked somewhat like Victoria as a girl.
