That's interesting you raise the issue of homosexuality rather than cannibalism while speaking of disturbing factor of the movie.

And how come zero out of ten? Let's say the movie is disgusting, but then what about directing, acting, plot, they don't matter at all, is that correct?

Just go back to watching Disney films!

Must not see, behave yourself Little Lance.

It's a shocker, which by now is not news to anyone, based on a true story, again, quite a shocker. The whole movie's tough to take, but don't say don't watch it. As for "Sickest Movie Ever" - calm down, it's not a patch on A Serbian Film".

As per earlier comment, despite someone being KILLED AND EATEN you seem more upset with homosexuality. I find your perspective a little odd Lance.

The vile themse did not bother me as much as the fact this film has absolutely no benefit to society. It doesn't raise any questions, it is not challenging or thought provoking, it is a movie based on shock value of a man licking a corpse's castrated penis.

The story of these two individuals is an interesting one but any possible plot was drowned out by unneccessary violence and sex.

30 mins of no dialouge, 45 mins of homosexual sex and 30 mins of mutilation.

Look at "To Catch a Killer" for how to mind *beep* without the Generation Y need to see violence to believe it has occured.

Cannibal is an artsy kind of film. It's about sexual fantasy.

It's meant to be shocking, it's meant to be depraved. Also, yes, this film did raise questions, on how a human can commit such horrific crimes against another person, and have that "victim" VOLUNTEER to be slaughterd and digested.

It's not a pretty film, it's not meant to be. 30 Min of dialogue? In my opinion, this is a new, unique and better approach on introducing a mad man. No words, we only see actions and images. Sort of like a photograph or painting.

Before you judging a film, watch it another time.

The homoerotic stuff definitely disturbed me more than the actual violence and gore, which was also quite nasty [ Especially the *SPOILER* severed penis pissing scene ]. I wish I'd known about the import DVD before i ordered the Unearthed version, though; the U.$.A. domestic version contains virtually no information about the film or its director, etc.

That's like saying "don't watch Rambo, it has way too much action".
It's not supposed to be an entertaining, fun, amusing movie. It's an accurate retelling of an event that actually happened. And what do you expect to see when 2 gay men get together??
I give it 5/5 easily, it even had some Buttgereit/arty moments that I really liked. I also appreciated the minimal dialogue and the camera not shying away from the more graphic stuff near the end.

And at the start of the movie when they show you the eyes of a person, I'm 95% certain those are Meiwes' eyes. :)
