Did Vince take inspiration from Alpha Dog with Jesse?

I just watched Alpha Dog the other day and i couldn't help but notice how similar Ben Foster and his brother is in that movie to Jesse and his brother in Breaking Bad, Ben Foster even kinda looked like Jesse with the shaved head and everything. In Alpha Dog Ben Foster is a junky and comes over to his parents house wanting money, and his parents are upper class snoody types that takes the kids to soccer on weekends and all that.

And they don't want Ben Foster's character being a bad influence on their precious golden son they coddle, but the younger brother wants to hang out with Ben Foster and get high with him and hates the way the parents treat him.

Its just so similar to when Jesse goes to his parents house for a day and sees his little brother and parents, and the little brother hates how his parents treat him and wants to be more like Jesse.
