Juliette should have studied more about Egypt prior to her trip

She called Egypt a Middle Eastern country, and Tareq's robe a dress. Naturally, she made mistakes, but it was disrespectful. Always try to learn about a country and it's language and culture prior to traveling there.

The majority of the population are Middle Eastern descent, as well as African, Berber, and European. But it is an African country.

That seems kind of nitpicky. Like saying Mexico isn't Latin America because of the Nahuatl speakers.

I think the idea was to portray her a naive/ignorant Westerner and the story would not have worked as well if she was educated and considerate of another country's customs/practices.
