I actually enjoyed it....

I went into this movie not expecting much at all, and was surprised that I actually enjoyed it very much. I thought Sandra Bullock was hilarious and adorable. I can see why people would think its mediocre at best because its not the most original of movies, but I cant see why people despise it. I also cant see why there is all the hate for Sandra in it. I enjoyed it much more then the proposal and the Blind Side.

I liked it, too. It's a comedy. When it comes to comedies I don't care about "character development" or film inaccuracies. If it makes me laugh, then that is a job well done.

It was on TV this week and since I heard so much negative responses I decided to watch it. I was expecting to see a horrible movie, but I actually enjoyed it. Was it anything special? No, I will probably forget about this one pretty soom, but it was some noce entertainment on a middle of the week night when there was nothing else on TV.
And Razzie for worst actress?

Sandra Bullock is delightful and saves the movie, because everyone else's acting is terrible. I thought using a three-legged baby and deaf children for comedy were in bad taste--surprised others didn't think so.

Omg, did you really think they used a real three-legged baby or a real deaf child, SMH! It's dark comedy, read up on it, you might learn something. You're welcome.

I avoided this movie for years because of all the bad comments on it. I should have known better. Yesterday was Sandra's 51st birthday, so I decided to pay tribute to her and watch some of my SB favs. Then I came across this one again and thought wtf.
I actually enjoyed it. I think people were just not used to SB playing this type of role. It sure was a lot better than Speed 2. And I think SB must have had a blast playing Mary. I loved her support team that she ends up with.
It was a nice surprise. But again I should know better not to rely on bad reviews.
