I actually enjoyed it....

I went into this movie not expecting much at all, and was surprised that I actually enjoyed it very much. I thought Sandra Bullock was hilarious and adorable. I can see why people would think its mediocre at best because its not the most original of movies, but I cant see why people despise it. I also cant see why there is all the hate for Sandra in it. I enjoyed it much more then the proposal and the Blind Side.

I just watched it the other night and enjoyed it myself.

Certainly not the best comedy she has been in, but I would watch it again. Her character was interesting and she pulled it off well.

I rented this last night and thought it was pretty good! I don't understand why it got such horrible reviews. And a Razzy for Sandra?? Come on - she was playing the part the way she was supposed to! Was it the best movie I've ever seen? No - definitely not. But - it was cute, funny in spots and you can't deny that Sandra Bullock is adorable. Gave it a 7 out of 10 stars.

I hated this movie, I barely lasted 15 minutes before I decided it wasn't for me. But Sandra Bullock certainly didn't deserve a Razzie, not for her acting anyway. Maybe for being fool enough to agree to do such a silly film in the first place...

A Razzie is just for fun, and publicity. Publicity for the Razzie people, that is!

Of course there are plenty of genuine bad performances in any year. But giving their prize to an actress no one knows, would be zero publicity for them!

Giving it to Sandra Bullock in a year she has 2 hits, and wins an Oscar... well you saw the publicity that generated! People who never heard of the Razzies know it now.

And she had fun with it, too.

I like Mary. I don't think she's crazy

What an awesome actress, Sandra Bullock!!!! I wonder if Meryl Streep could have met the challenge of this role. Sometimes movies are just meant to be fun. We live in a hyper-critical world that needs more Mary Horowitz types.

drama or girly movies usually are far from my style of movies I watch but I have to say I enjoyed this movie alot. I have watched it several times already and I really enjoy the character Sandra plays (I wish more girls were like this attitude) The movie is by far one of the best I have seen in some time in this long bland spell we are having out of Hollywood.

I have also never seen a woman quite as hot as Katy Mixon before either, well I have but you know what I mean... that is my definition of beautiful right there not what Hollywood and the Media tells the populace what is sexy !

Excellent movie and funny acting, It'll make you feel good after watching it, recommended...

Bad movie with HILARIOUS scenes. Bullock's character was sexy, smart, and quirky. I loved her!

I don't know why the other characters were written to treat her badly, but that was one the many flaws of this shoddy production.

I don't recall anybody written to dislike her in the film.

It was just a girl looking for love, being used by the media and then it all turning around through the sub-plot of finding heroes in the world.

The tag being, the only hero is you. You don't have to follow rules.

I kind of liked it too. Not the best movie ever made but it's not this colossal piece of crap people talk about either.

Dammit Carol Sue, where is the vodka?!

Overall, the movie was fairly bad. Mary's character was beyond ridiculous, and the funnier parts didn't belong to her so much as the CCN guys. However, this movie was far from the worst thing I'd ever seen.

I'll admit that I didn't laugh a great deal during it, but I totally lost it when Thomas Haden Church's character went down the hole. I literally laughed until I cried!!! I was just wiping away tears because of this character's sheer stupidity!

I have to agree that it wasn't that bad. In the beginning I was starting to wonder as I thought she was so ridiculous, but the movie turns. I mean she is pretty ridiculous, but you have to go with it. I have to say I have definitely watched a lot worse train wrecks of movies though, and that movie was not that bad by a long shot. After watching Gigli, Glitter, or even Muhulland Drive, I would probably sit through this again. I am glad Sandy was such a good sport about getting the Razzie though.

Well, I've just seen it for the first time and I watched it on HBO with a stomach filled with July 4th BBQ. So, I'm not exactly in the mood to be critical of anything but I will say that I enjoyed watching it.

I enjoyed it too. It's a light hearted comedy. It's not crude or rude that's why it didn't get rave reviews.

I thought it was a cute movie- and I thought the ending was better (if not more realistic) than half the movies made.

I'm so full of valium, I rattle.
