When I see the junk given an 8 rating on IMDB it's shocking that this awesome show is only in the 7s. I guess people were stingy in their ratings back when this show was on when it got the bulk of its ratings.
It truly has stood the test of time and there are so many humorous moments with Cameron and other kids at school.
I totally agree. I think the TV show was better than all the movies put together. I liked the first two movies but the depth and storyline of the series is amazing. I only gave one 7 in the whole series (2.16 Some Must Watch While Some Must Sleep). I've watched pretty much every sci-fi series of the last 50 years. I have at this time 12510 ratings (I'm one of the Top 1000). Out of all of those ratings I have only given 56 10s. This show has 2 of them. I gave the overall show a 9.
I have only ever given 1 show an overall 10 and that's because I took into consideration the cultural impact as well as my opinion of the show.
Of all of the literally thousands of different shows I've watched in my life, this is the show I most wish had another season.
No Sitcoms! No Sports! No Reality!
s1 was an 8, but s2 is a 5. so 7 seems generous. overall i give it a 6
shareUnfortunately, the thought provoking nature of the show, and the ways it expanded on the terminator mythos (and elevating it) meant it alienated some casual viewers looking for action, and some of the hardcore fanbase that is only interested in T1 and T2.
