Should Be a Dog......

This time around instead of a cat. Church I mean, they should’ve made him a dog for this movie. First it would help to make this slightly different from both the book & the last film & hey I think a undead dog would certainly be scarier than a cat.

But I understand something like that would be open to interpretation. But it looks like the die is cast & he’s still a cat so there goes that.

Also don’t care about the “children practicing pagan rituals” aspect of this that i keep hearing about. That sounds dumb. The Indian burial ground was a way better idea, but I guess they chose to ditch it this time around.

We’ll see how this all shapes up soon enough I guess.

It would’ve been compared to Cujo though.

You know I thought about that too! But the cat in the original movie never killed anybody I don’t think, so if the dog was there only for the chill effect then I don’t think there’d be a comparison.

Modern audiences may not even know who “Cujo” is.
