Most pointless film ever?

I can seriously say I've never seen a film that I found this pointless. What was the purpose? It didn't have any technical or artistic merit, the acting was poor, non existent characters, just no...point to it.

Can't think of a single redeeming feature. Genuine 1/10.

Just interested in what other people could of possibly enjoyed about it?

The movie wasn't made for entertainment imbecile, it was made to tell a true story.

I can see how people could've liked this film but:
-The acting killed it for me. It was horrible, with the exception of the character of Ruth. Really, it was laughable.
-The idea of David having acquired something positive from the experience with that cliche quote at the end made me roll my eyes (and that was just one example of the poor dialogue).
-Only loosely based on the true story.
-It was sloppily filmed/edited.
Really, to me it seemed like a poor execution of a film about a saddening true story.
But then again, I watch little drama-themed material so maybe I'm missing something.

The OP is absolutely right. A completely pointless movie.

At times like these, I really hate being right!
