I just think it's funny because my english professor won't get off my case about that one.

shareDidn't anyone take a math class? It's a shortened simple logic statement: 10 items OR less than 10 items. The statement has been shortened to "10 items or less". Since there is no period on the statement, it does not have to be a gramatically correct sentence.

At my local publix they fixed it up, yet in the process made another mistake. One line is 10 items or fewer, the other is "Fewer than 10 items," so you can only get away with nine.
