Ending made no sense.

Why would the virus evolve to avoid sick people when it instantly reanimates them upon death?

Other than that, it was all right.

reply

It's not a virus. It's something that avoids people with a fatal disease.

reply

Call it what you will. It makes no sense.

It instantly transforms them into zombies, so whether or not they are sick should make no difference.

reply

Zombies make no sense so what's your point.

reply

It's a fictional universal where zombies do exist.

The plot is inconsistent about how the virus works. That's the point. That kind of thing annoys me.

reply

It was a virus according to the film. The virologist who shoots himself says so.

reply

I feel like they would have figured it out faster. Hospices and hospitals would be filled with people who were ignored by the zeds. It wouldn't take long to figure out that the one thing all the people ignored by zeds shared was being in poor health.
The book is far better. The book would lend itself to a mini-series quite well. Every chapter could be an episode.

reply

Book was great, yeah.

I agree about them not figuring things out sooner, too.
