The entire framework of Brook's book...is shamelessly picked up lock, stock and barrel from Hackett's book.
I'm not gonna accuse Brooks of plagiarism, but the fact that he wasn't more outspoken against this film and how horrible it was leads me to believe he's a sellout. But if you don't feel like reading the book, try the audiobook. I did that and loved it. I think Mark Hamill and John Terturo were a few of the voices.
shareBook is excellent. You wouldn't think that a book about zombies could be so brilliant. The movie has virtually nothing to do with the book. A few visuals, locations, and slang used.
the only way the book could have been done is via series. Multiple separate stories.
