I agree, and Mega Piranha is better than The Godfather.

reply

The Godfather is extremely overrated.

I don't agree but I post anyways. You must be really young and have no sense what a good movie means if you think this horrible mess was better. It's not IMO, it's a fact.

Actually, I'm 41, and thought the original was...eh, ok.

I'm 60-ish, read the Conan books in my early teens. I've never seen the first Conan movie because I have never wanted to see Schwarzenegger in anything, certainly not as Conan. I gave the new film a chance because I was impressed with Jason Momoa in "Game of Thrones." This version certainly seems to draw on the Robert Howard writings and Frank Frazetta art. I'm about halfway through and enjoying it so far.

I definitely agree with this, after having struggled to sit through the really boring and slow paced original with Schwarzenegger I thought I would give this reboot a second chance watching it on Netflix. And all tho I hated it the first time I enjoyed it a whole lot more the second, this movie imo feels more like how those two Conan movies should've. The violence in this movie is actually satisfying , the action scenes and pacing are better & Jason Mamoa portrayed Conan perfectly how I really felt he should be. He moves faster, is ruthless, intimidating and intense.

The Conan movie with Schwarzenegger i got on Blu-ray a few weeks ago for $5 at Walmart, had me thinking that $5 would have been better spent on another movie or buying some junk food.

The original was 10x better. The reason why is Arnold has screen presence. Jason Momoa has none. To play a role like this needs screen presence. Just because you went to the gym and worked out doesn't mean you can play Conan. It had great fight scenes, but besides that, it sucked

No, I don't agree at all. This movie started out ok, but got very boring and typical after a little bit.

No, I don't agree at all. I saw them both for the first time ever this year and the original was a lot more enjoyable.

Saw this a few weeks ago, never even knew they made it lol so I was quite looking forward to it.. didn't take long for my boredom to kick in.. it just doesn't have same sense of wonder and magic the old films have.

Also, I couldn't see anything, everything were shown in close up.. it made following the movie/action very difficult.. it was unwatchable but I stuck with it to the end. Truly was as bad as people claim.
