I just saw the NC-17 version (on DVD) and was just wondering if there was some actual "penetration" between actors Tony Leung and Wei Tang during the shooting of those steamy scenes? I have to reverse and pause the disc on those scenes; but I'm still not quiet sure. Or are those all Cinematics?
shareWhen he's on top of her you can see he's going in and out of her .i know some film makers have been known to ad actors bits in with cgi .Regardless of whether it's CGI or not it was real sex with real penetration .I think who ang lee like alot of self proclaimed artist/psuedo intellects can't differentiate between real and simulated .

Without any doubt at all Mak Tai Tai and Mr. Yee are having full, penetrative sex.
What Wei Tang and Tony Leung are doing is completely irrelevant. If that's what you think about as you watch Lust, Caution then either the actors, the director and the movie have failed or (more likely in this case) you just don't get movies.
