Always hated guys like this in high school and college and real life after that..........Little self-serving prick. What's infuriating is these kinds of people advance in life more than others.....Sad.

Pete is very easy to hate. I understand that. But between the first time you see him in the show to the last time. You see that Pete has grown up quite a bit. In the begining he was very hungry and wanted to run with the guys that have been there for a while and did not do so much. Talent came easy to others like Don, Freddy, Roger. Pete had to work a little harder at it. But in the end he turned out to be pretty good. Not working harder anymore but smarter.

shareIt's funny you know those early episodes where Don basically wanted him GONE and fired, when you first watch the series you think those 2 are gonna hate each other the entire time.
but in the end it is Pete that defends Don, is one of the reasons of his return he had his back all the way at the end.
