Thor injured in collision between Van (spoilers)

Thor is knocked out cold from a van but he can take hits from The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man and some of the nastiest, toughest alien extraterrestrials and never fall down?

Why did the van do it to him?!

reply

Isn't he just a regular person, not a God, when he was Cast Out of Godville?
A mortal, even a big hunky one, is still: Van 01 | Mortal 00.

If we hit that bull's-eye then the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards...Checkmate.

I thought about that too, but without his covering from his father when he was banished

he's still greater than ordinary folk~ ye? For instance when he said his mortal form

needed sustanance or something like that when they ate at the diner.

Also did you understand the part when they went to the Frost Giant planet,

and Loki's arm was grabbed by a FG but his armed turned back

to flesh? If he is Laufney's son are they saying Aasgard

cosmetic surgery removed his Frost Giants looks to make everyone think

he was Thor's brother? Is this part ever explained, or how he got the same

powers as Frigga?

All of this knowledge is based on the character index in the Marvel Universe, which may be reflected in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Odin's magic created Loki's appearance as a human. Recall the flashback in the weapons vault. Odin's touch turned the little Jotunn runt to a human form.

Also, Thor fell to earth as a mortal, as the previous person said. Even as a mortal, Thor's mass is several times that of a human his size, just as Loki is.
He appears to weigh 225 pounds to us, but his mass is closer to 700 pounds. That also means his strength in mortal form is three times that of someone in his shape who works out regularly.

An Asgardian's tolerance for injury is greater than that of a human in his peak health and size.
