i went to this movie because the premise seemed amusing, because i like frank oz, and because my girlfriend loves anything with midgets in it..

wow, what a terrible disappointment. we kept looking at each other the whole time, like, is this supposed to be funny? is this supposed to be good? it has to be the least funny script ever greenlighted for a mainstream comedy.. it's not that particular actors are bad, it's just that there's _NOTHING_ good for them to do or say.

I can probably say this is the worst thing I've ever seen in a movie theater.

We walked out at about the 1-hour mark. I've only done this one other time in my life -- I walked out of Dungeons & Dragons. I think this might be worse.

I did'nt like it as well, only funny bit was when "second coffin opening" happened. One the other hand I liked alot, from same subject, "Fun at the Funeral Parlour". That was seriously funny and probably could'nt be remade in US. I'm glad it has got a higher IMDB rating than this.

Least funny script? The worst thing you've seen?
I guess you don't enjoy British comedy, as this is well above the average.
I found it hilarious, well written and would recommend it to anyone that appreciates British humor.

Duuuude, seriously? It was actually one of the best comedies I've ever seen. I've seen it a couple of times, and I was laughing my ass off every time. Maybe you're not a fan of British humor and black comedy? I absolutely love it. I've also shown it to my sister and a couple of other friends - everyone loved it!

Nope, they're correct. This movie was a disappointment. It was downright awful. I really, really tried hard to like it, and I'm Canadian, but I must have missed something in the humour because it was not funny. Go figure. :(

p.s. Please stop using these boards to be so mean to people. We're only espressing our opinion and some clarity.

The movie I have to admit was slow but towards the middle of the movie it started to get real funny. Out of 10 I'll give this movie a 7.
