Trinity's victims' families

Do you think they were told the truth?

From a police standpoint, it's sort of

A) Allowing them to continue to think that their mothers/wives/daughters committed suicide

or

B) Telling them the truth, and letting them take comfort in the fact these weren't suicides, but then their infinite frustration and anger that the killer is never caught

reply

I believe they didn't accept Trinity existed?

reply

I mean more in retrospect. Because they did eventually accept it. More in regards to the ones further back. Ie they send a cop to someone's house and it's all "Hey remember when your daughter killed herself in the bathtub 8 years ago? Well it turns out she was actually murdered by a lunatic who made it look like suicide, and apparently this is a pattern for him, and we haven't caught him yet, but we're working on it." Or just let them continue their lives believing the un-truth they already believed.

I can't recall if the police outside of Lundy knew about Trinity or not.
