Agreed with Luly. He was the worst. He drugs her, lets his friends rape her, takes pictures and presents a completely different persona to his wife, thus deceiving her to. The guy was a coward, a pig and a criminal. And if she was really a psycho why didn't he just call the police? Luly is right, when someone is stalking you, you handle it legally. At least the wife had the good sense to leave him in the end.

Oh please, even though his friends raped her, he was still partially involved in the mess. It was good enough to see that the ghost killed all of his friends and make him suffer in mental hospital for the rest of his life.

You're right, it wasn't fair; he was basically lobotomized so he could not face trial, conviction, and sentence for his crime.
Apart from all the moral, emotional, and just plain human things wrong with what he did, just look at the legal point of view: He knew it was happening/going to happen and did nothing to stop it... that could be charged as depraved indifference and/or accessory to rape. He is the one who actually gave her the drugged wine... that could be charged as criminal facilitation and/or conspiracy to commit rape.
He may not have known it was going to go that far but he drugged her, and once he saw what was going on he did nothing to stop it... he was a just as responsible.

Even though he didn't take part in it he is still just as bad as his friends. He is just as guilty as they are. He did nothing so in my opinion that is just as bad.
sharei dont get it whats it with most people , that want the movie to end in justice, and something fair to happen. Life isnt fair. Even if you think it was unfair for him to end up there, doesnt mean that the movie has to show it, or that you are going to be dissapointed if you dont see him do justice, or that the movie even suggests that THIS IS what fairly should have happened to him.
Its just a way the events turned out. Fair or unfair. Its just a story, its not justice. How can you be dissapointed with not watching what you think its fair for him?
