I really think this movie had the potential of being great - BUT!!!

The character development was so bad especially towards the end. It's like every characters just did whatever suited the plot best no matter how little sense it made. And i know this is a little feel-good rom-com but it really had the chance of being so much more, and that makes me really mad. I could go on and on, but I would really like to hear your thoughts on the subject

I'm not sure what you mean by character development. The conflict is about two people who are instantly attracted to each other then discover there's a huge problem with their potential relationship, that is Dan's brother. That they are falling in love despite trying otherwise is the plot.

I think that it was a potentially good story but it didn't have enough stand out moments. I found two sequences really hilarious and another two which were nice and touching.

I feel the same, but I can't recall any really funny moments from it.

I actually saw the opposite way, that it was only so-so until the last 20 minutes which were quite good.
