Some morons just don't get this movie, do they?

It's amazing that after watching this movie, some morons are up here, complaining about how the white population is decreasing in UK. Are you morons for real? You are clearly not getting the idea that the move tries to convey: you just can't blindly blame the immigrants.

Has it ever occured to you that some British-breed white trash are just no good human garbages? They are parasites that contribute nothing to the society.

On the other hand, it's hard-working and educated immigrants that help maintain Britain's vibrant economy.

Are you from O.C. California ? Yes, that haven for skinheads and priveleged college teens with their day-glo smiles. It's ironic that when we watch the news or Crimewatch over here, that whenever someone has been collared for a social security scam, e.g. getting about 8 houses paid for by the state , and then sub-letting them, that they are nearly always Nigerian/Pakistani etc. Try living over here before you cast judgement, surfer. There aint no sunshine here anymore

Apparently nobody does. Even the OP. Meadows whole point was that they are all, even Combo, victims of hate and hate mongering fools that grab young people's attention and control them to do things they aren't whole-heartedly into doing. If you didn't feel sorry even for Combo, you missed the meaning of the film entirely.

I don't get a "rape" taking place at all. Lol just said she was pissed off her head the night they had sex. Meadows isn't into promoting the hate. He's trying to show how "common" and "uneducated" the behavior of it all is, therefore helping hate mongering easier to spread.

"Sympathy for Combo is secondary. I'm less concerned about people's lack of sympathy for him than say, the number of idiots on this board who see films like this as celebratory of the most abject racism and prejudice tied into bloated notions of nationalism."

I understand your concern of spreading hatred and racism and nationalism to the less intelligent. But before giving up the notion that we -each and all- can make any impact to make the movement take a different direction, we have to face that we have to accept each and everyone as they are, and that we have no real control, other that acceptance. Then we can hope to turn the tide. Calling people idiots is never going to make them stand down and listen to you.IMO

Perhaps you're right. Although I just took it that she was angry for his recent behavior towards the gang, mainly Woody. The reason I say this is because they night Combo first crashed the party and let his release be known, Lol greeted him with a shy grin and let him hug her. But you may be correct. It's just something I may not have picked up on.

IT was statutory rape. In my opinion someone who committed statutory rape just the one time doesn't warrant being called a rapist. Technically the other person gave consent, only they were too young to legally do so.

If any label should be attached to Combo for what he did with Lol back in 1980 I think it was, I'd say peadophile should be that label.
